Medical Director, Foster Medical Clinic
Dr. Christopher Pund, MD, FACEP, serves as Medical Director at Foster Medical Clinic, bringing more than two decades of experience in emergency medicine, physician leadership, and healthcare administration.
Dr. Pund earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP).
Throughout his career, Dr. Pund has held numerous physician leadership positions, including Chief Medical Officer, Regional Medical Director, and Emergency Department Medical Director. He has also served as President of the Kentucky Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians and has contributed to medical education through clinical faculty and teaching positions.
Dr. Pund’s combination of extensive clinical experience, medical leadership, and commitment to physician education provides a strong foundation for his role as Medical Director at Foster Medical Clinic. He helps support the clinic’s commitment to safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while providing medical leadership to the Foster team.
