Dr. Christopher Pund, MD, FACEP, serves as Medical Director at Foster Medical Clinic, bringing more than two decades of experience in emergency medicine, physician leadership, and healthcare administration.

Education, Training & Board Certification

Dr. Pund earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP).

Medical Leadership & Professional Experience

Throughout his career, Dr. Pund has held numerous physician leadership positions, including Chief Medical Officer, Regional Medical Director, and Emergency Department Medical Director. He has also served as President of the Kentucky Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians and has contributed to medical education through clinical faculty and teaching positions.
